Two Months of Life

As of today, I have lived with T for two whole months.  We went from being separated by time and distance for two long years, to now seeing each other daily for two months.  Let me tell you, it’s been a big change.

But in all honesty, it’s been a great change.  Not only am I enjoying the Aloha life of rainbows, sunshine, and the sea, but I am also fortunate to enjoy a life with him in it.

Over the last 2 months, I have seen beautiful sights, started my dream job, made some great MilSO and Teacher friends, and gotten to know T even more.  We have learned how to live together, the things that make us tick, and how to make each other even happier than before.  We get to cuddle close together, and hold hands whenever we please.  We now get to experience each other’s presence daily.  It’s an amazing feeling… One that we have waited so long for.  But a feeling that was certainly worth the wait nonetheless.

I’m not saying that I would wish a long distance relationship on anyone.  It was difficult at times, and many people I know wouldn’t have been able to handle it, but this has been the most rewarding relationship I’ve had.

Eventually two months will turn into another two years, and T and I will find ourselves somewhere else, but even more in love.  I can’t wait to see what our future holds, but I’m also going to cherish every moment we get together in the meantime.
